I’m just going, “HOLY FUCK!” after seeing the prices in the Bargain Bin.
For example, Mai HiMe DVDs. I posted about the Christmas special on the DVDs last year, but this year just blows it out of the water at around USD$3 per DVD.
Of course, these prices mean that most are sold out, but damn. It’s seriously cheap.
I continue to bemoan the lack of a credit card.
Rant on the fanfictions I see popping up on FF.net for Mai Hime and some other stuff. Definitely not necessary reading.
The Mai Hime DVD series is bundled together, all 7 discs, at the extremely low price of USD$69.99 and it’s very much worth the money.
Before coming to the Fuka Academy, all Mai Tokiha wanted was to live an ordinary high school life, but that’s the last thing she’s going to get. It turns out that Mai is a HiME, one of twelve girls with super-natural powers that are gathered at this school to fight the Orphans, demons that dwell around the school. A secret organization has other plans for the HiME than just demon-busting and Mai and the other HiME will have to risk something precious to protect the ones they love.
I would definitely grab it since it’s more than half off and considering that each of the separate discs cost USD$21.99 and there are seven of them. That makes it around $83 saved. Even if you factor in shipping costs, you’d still be saving at least USD$50.
But here’s the clincher, it’s on Rightstuf and as far as I know, RightStuf does not accept Paypal. And my funds are low.
Plus, I have been expressly forbidden to buy anything online. Oh, the horror.
So, give me a Christmas present? Just kidding.

I was just rewatching Mai HiMe using the new home theater system, and there was no visible increase/decrease in quality when the picture was enlarged. I think my lack of skill in manipulating the remote control contributed to the bad dimensions of the the default picture though. But hey, it was from a thumbdrive instead of a made-for-tv DVD or VCD. ^.^

I amwas listening to the song Oh My Juliet by LM.C, and I put my screenshot of Nao’s attack getting verification from the Shinso in Episode 3 of Mai Otome Zwei as my theme header.
The attack’s name is Bloody Stripe Circus.

There was the J.N.G mistake for Juliet Nao Zhang in Episode 25 or 26, can’t exactly remember it, I need to get a screencap!

Ps. I’ll be inactive for the time being(during weekdays), since my entire schedule is packed with studying and tuition for the exams and whatnot.
I think I’m about to like Mai HiMe Destiny.
Why? Because Shion and Mayo are the love childs from a yuri orgy of all the female characters in Mai HiMe. Or maybe because Shion is a Natsuki/Nao/Chie clone, and Mayo is a Mai/Shiho/Natsuki-in-a-dress clone.
